The Barn Bed & Breakfast

Geddes, South Dakota is one of South Dakota’s small and friendly towns that got its start as a trading site on the Missouri River. Geddes, SD was actually founded in 1900 and named for a Milwaukee railroad official, D.C. Geddes when the railroad came through.

Geddes lies in direct route with the Lewis and Clark Trail on Highway 50, and is only about a 10 minute drive from the Missouri River. Today Geddes is considered a prime fishing and pheasant hunting area. There are several lodges and bed and breakfast establishments in and around Geddes that furnish accommodations for all travelers.
