Glenham, South Dakota was formed in 1900 and named for its location in a glen. Glenham was formed by moving buildings from four other small towns in the area and forming one town. The early settlers hopes for a large town were never quite realized. The other four towns long ago joined South Dakotas ghost town list.
Today, Glenham, SD is supported by the local farmers in the area and once a year in the fall, Glenham, becomes a pheasant hunting mecca.
