Keystone, South Dakota is another gold rush town that was founded in 1891 and got its name from a near-by mine. Keystone is one of the pioneer towns of the Black Hills. The older part follows the creek, with residential houses on one side and store buildings on the other. Keystone, South Dakota is definitely a tourist town located near Mount Rushmore in the beautiful Black Hills.
