The town of Reva, South Dakota got its name from near-by Reva Gap where the first post office, established in 1895, was situated. Located just a couple of miles outside of the town of Reva is “Nature’s wonders” - an eighty square miles of a National Forest. This is a wonder of changing vistas, steep escarpments, inter-connected valleys and towering pine trees. If you arrive at the right time of the year there is even “national” turtle races in Reva.
