Wall, South Dakota’s name is taken from the fact that it is located near the edge of the Badlands. Often called the “Gateway to the Badlands National Park”, Wall is the trading center of a farming and stock raising countryside. The founding of Wall in July of 1907 was marked by a large celebration which continues to this day. Wall, South Dakota is filled with tourist sights and things to do for everyone young and old.
