| South Dakota State Highway 34 runs from the Minnesota border to Wyoming. Highway 34 is a constantly changing vista of South Dakota. This is an excellent two lane highway that takes the traveler from college towns into the center of South Dakota's farmlands. It moves from one of the Native American reservations and follows the Missouri River into Pierre, South Dakota's state capital. From Ft. Pierre the rolling bluffs and prairie lands dominate the horizon for 175 miles to the popular destination of Sturgis. This part of South Dakota has a unique beauty. |
