| Highway 385 & 16 lies in the heart of the Black Hills National Park area. These two highways teem with old west history and is home to the Mount Rushmore National Park and Crazy Horse Monument. From Hot Springs to Lead, the highway twists and winds around some of the most beautiful mountain roads “this side of the Rockies”. These highways have seven tunnels, and several are narrow. Drive slow and enjoy the scenery and the “wild west” ambiance of the small towns tucked away in the mountains. Remember, there was gold in ‘em thar hills not so long ago. |
